The Beach Bath

Heeeelllllooooo......sorry, I have been away for awhile....basically having a weekend! Thankfully, not emergency room stories to report this week. Fine by me.

Anyway....so that brings us to the list of things that Sean and I wanted to accomplish this weekend...some we did, others we did not. The one that we did not accomplish was actually going and picking out paint contenders, as I like to call them--so we did that tonight. A trip to Lowe's is never an unfortunate trip for a man, so off we went to look at paint (which is an unfortunate problem for Sean after about 10 minutes). So we found some contenders and they are now taped to the wall of the guest bath, or the beach bath as is the theme of the room. A decision will be made, hopefully, soon. We have until September 24th when I go out of town for Sean to do all of the painting....and does he have is work cut out for him. Volunteers are welcome to join in the fun!

So, in keeping with the theme of the beach bath, we have picked out some sandy or off white colors that could possibly work in there. We like the beach bath theme for the guest bath...and it is one of those things that came about in a very serendipity like way too. It started with blue towels and mats from when we got married and has evolved into seashelles, a sand dollar, and conch that we acquired from a few trips to the beach, but mostly Turks and Caicos where we took our honeymoon (nothing like taking a honeymoon after you have been married for 18 months). So, it has just kind of stuck...I'm not sad about it.

If you look to the far left of this picture, you will catch a glimpse of Sean sticking his tongue out at me!
