Buck Island

After the wedding, the brunch, and most of the guest leaving, we had a few days at the resort just to enjoy and have some down time.  On Monday, we set off for a snorkeling trip at Buck Island, a national preserve just off the coast of St. Croix.  Sean booked us a private catamaran for a 5 hour tour of the reefs and the island.  The water was the most unbelievable shades of blue and turquoise...and home, of course, to some pretty groovy sea turtles.  Some of those guys were huge!

Enjoy Buck Island, we certainly did!

Yes, I am wearing my old lady hat again.

Unbelievably blue.

You may have to look sideways to capture the true beauty of this....but this was an unbelievably pristine beach.

I'm sure this may make the Christmas card or something!
