The Bloom

Sunday we took a trip out to the Dallas Arboretum for the Spring Bloom event that they hold every year.  This year was without exception--it was absolutley gorgeous outside.  The weather was perfect for a picnic and that is just what we did! 

The flowers were vibrant and so was the company.  Elizabeth was a character, walking all over the place and exploring the gardens and not to mention the waterfalls!  She even go to see Ferdinand the Bull for the beloved children's book.  Alas, we could not keep a hat on her--thankfully, I lathered her up in sunblock.  SPF 50 no less!  Mommy had to partake in that as well.  Excuse my old lady, Ouiser hat, but a girl has to protect her fair skin.  Enjoy the pictures...it was breathtaking.
