Just yesterday you were this tinny tiny little girl who did not what to think of this world you had been born into. Flash forward 3 years later are you know exactly what you want! And I would not have it any other way!
Here are some things that we celebrate with you at three years old:
• Words, words, words….and they are getting to be much clearer too.
• Opinions, opinions, opinions…you have them on everything about everything.
• You love to wear dresses, especially your pretty purple dress---and leggings too. It’s too bad you took a pair of scissors and destroyed your only black pair. I hope this is not the beginning of a Madonna stage.:) You also love headbands, but rarely keep them on your head for a long period of time.
• You still love your doggie, especially feeding her. When you do feed her, Raider tends to get a little overfed which she does not have a problem with, but Mommy and Daddy do.
• You have moved up into the Middle Pre-School class at school and love your new teachers, Ms. Michelle, Ms. Hailey, and Ms. Liz. And they love you too. Every day is a new adventure.
• You are potty trained but still occasionally have an accident. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you for this accomplishment.
• Your favorite foods are fruit, yogurt, and raisins, and corndogs, but are an overall good eater and we are very thankful for that.
• For your birthday you requested chocolate cake and purple icing.
• Your new favorite TV show is Word World, but you still enjoy Sesame Street and Barney.
• Your favorite movies are anything princess and Toy Story.
• Speaking of princesses, you absolutely adore Cinderella and have named all the important people in your life, princess names. Mommy is Sleeping Beauty, Daddy is Snow White, Raider is Belle, and so on…
• Your favorite color is purple, but you also tell us that you like blue too.
• You are still one of the only girls in your classroom, but you seem happy to be among the “stinky boys”—you rule the roost anyway.
• Your memory is getting to be quite good—which is a little scary at times, but you like to recall things that you have done and places you have been, even from months ago.
• You love your Daddy more than anyone in the whole wide world. It makes Mommy’s heart smile to see how much you love him and all the other people around you.
Where the time has gone, I will never know, but it is with great love and pleasure that I get the privilege of sharing this life with you. I hope and pray every day that you continue to grow stronger, smarter, and become the lovely little lady you are to the world.
Happy Birthday my beautiful Elizabeth!
