I have always loved this Van Gogh painting. What he saw on in his "Starry Night" I will never understand, but it is amazingly beautiful. To have that kind of perspective is a true talent...

I love it too, but can't see it without hearing Don McLean singing "Starry starry night" in my head. It's made it so that seeing the painting makes me feel a little sad -- which I'm not sure was Van Gogh's intention. But then again, you never know.
