15 Months Old

Today, Elizabeth is 15 months old.  Every day she amazes me with all that she is and all that she does. Here are some of this month's highlights.
  • Elizabeth is now giving kisses.  She needs to be prompted and is not consistent, but she gives kisses.
  • She is becoming more and more of a Daddy's girl.  Sigh, I knew it was going to happen.
  • Her favorite thing is to flip through books.  Sometimes she stares at the picture for awhile, and other times, she just finds the flipping fun and fascinating.  They are easily her favorite toy, that is, besides Billy.
  • Elizabeth is starting to "talk" a bit.  She says Dada and Mama, but we are not entirely sure she relates them to us.  It also sounds like she is trying to say Raider and she definitely seems to be relating it to the dog just fine.
  • School is progressing nicely.  Every few weeks we get a folder of all of Elizabeth's most recent art.  Those teachers must have the patience of saints is all I can think.
  • Elizabeth is currently one of two girls in the classroom...all boys.  Esk, poor girl.
  • The nose bop incident from earlier in the month is healing nicely and we seem to be getting over our last ear infection.
  • Elizabeth has bite both Sean and I a few times over the last few weeks.  Thankfully, she has not done it at school and has only bitten us.  And the few times she has done it, we don't think she truly knows she is biting us.  We think she forgets she has teeth and is using us as teething rings.  Regardless, we are definitely telling her Oww, No Bite.
It will be interesting to see what the next month brings us.  There are definitely no dull days in our household!

Love the pictures! She's so stinking cute.

And it's funny, I never remember these month birthdays for Olivia until I see it on your blog. Thanks, friend :)
