Have you ever had love at first listen? I have—many times. I must be a music Lothario or something like that. To me, there is nothing like listening to a song for the first time and something about it just grabs you by the hand and steals your soul away for emotional journey. That is exactly what happened when I first heard this Adele song. It took me away. Maybe it was the simple sound of a lone piano and a voice, maybe it was the heart wrenching words that flowed from Adele’s mouth, or maybe it was just the emotion that she exudes as she performs this song. Or maybe it was every single bit of what I described. Regardless, this song has joined the elite ranks of one of my all time favorite songs.
