Labor Day 2011 brought us some of the most beautiful and unbelievably decent weather for the first time since about early May. This summer has been brutal with so many 100+ days. We have been running to and from air conditioning as much as possible trying to stay cool. But when God sends a little fall present really early this year, we do not look a gift horse in the mouth, but take it and run with it. And run we did to the Dallas Arboretum very early this morning to beat the inevitable crowd. To say that we had fun is an understatement. Running around in the sun without heat exhaustion was just what we all needed as we enjoyed this beautiful, perfect Labor Day.
Here is to hoping for an early fall....
Diva Elizabeth in her sweater and sunglasses.
Magnificent tree...
Mommy and Elizabeth running through the grass.
Waterfall
Elizabeth and Mommy
Elizabeth and Daddy
Mother/Daughter twirling in my favorite gazebo.
Elizabeth and her fountain...it was like a moth to a flame.
My future's so bright, I've got to wear shades...
Running with our soccer ball right before we were told we couldn't have a ball in the Arboretum. :(
