Today was Elizabeth's first day of school. I have to say, it pretty much killed me, but Sean took the day off for moral support and to entertain me. After dropping her off, and me shedding a more than a few tears, we were off to breakfast at Main Street Bakery & Bistro. It was very tasty and we only go there on special occasions. Then we were off again to run a bazillion errands in record time. It is amazing how efficient you suddenly are when you are not lugging the world with you! Another place we only go to for special occasions is Houston's, and that is where Sean took me for lunch. It is my favorite resturant and I can't help but love it as we have celebrated so many special occasions at Houston's. Everything was quite lovely and a big thank you goes out to Sean for doing such a good job distracting me. After we returned home from our fabulous lunch, the tax guy and the dishwasher installer guy came. The tax guy actually had good news, the installer guy, not so much. We'll see what he has to say tomorrow after the City of Frisco has been here....don't ask, it is just a long story.
Tomorrow is Elizabeth's second day of school. Hopefully, it will be as good as the first one was for her...and I will try and work on my tear ducts.

Here is one of the pictures we took of Miss Elizabeth before we left the house. She looked so lovely in her pink flowers--and her thinking pose to boot!

You made it! It really does get easier. Sounds like you had a lot to do yesterday -- being productive is so much easier when you have someone to watch the baby for a little while!
