Hello and welcome back from our break with blogging...I do not know what my deal is here lately, but some weeks I am a rabid blogger, and others, well, I think I take a mental vacation and do not have anything to say about anything at all. Oh the joys of it all. So I thought I would write about our most recent weekend!
Friday the weekend started with a bunch of errands, and the Sean and I were off to see one of our favorite (mutal--I say mutual because we do not agree on music much--what was I thinking when I married him?) bands/group, Jackopierce. They did not disappoint--but they never do. They played a lot of their old stuff as well as some stuff from the new album, which was quite good. The only thing about Friday night that was not cool was that we were both absolutely exhausted! Needless to say, when the concert ended, making it back up to Friscohoma was quite a chore, but we did and that is all that matters.
Jack O'Neill and Cary Pierce
Saturday started early with crazy critters in our bed (the girls), dropping my car off for its 60,000 mile check up, lunch with Craig, Christie, and Reid, then off to run a million errands! Aw, the fun never ends. The night wrapped up with watching Oklahoma kick the poo out of Texas Tech (did not hurt my feelings at all) with our friend Greg. Never a dull moment around here, Raider managed to cut her tongue on an open can we had put in the recycling bin. At least this fun bleeding incident did not have us spending hundreds of dollars on an emergency vet visit. She is fine, and has hopefully, learned her lesson. One can hope...Sunday, well, that would be more errands....and then some relaxation with a little reading of "Pride and Prejudice", some Iron Man (which is very good and witty), and some yummy spaghetti.
So that was the weekend--if you can not tell, it was a ton of errands, but at least they are done for another week.
