What can I say? It is classic, timeless, and irreplaceable. It is one of the only true Christmas movies that they show on the major networks? It is--and has been for quite sometime now. A tidbit I recently found out is that this movie was kind of a flop when it was released. Audiences at the time felt that it was a little dark for their liking, but over the years, people have embraced it. I am one of the embracers as the story is powerful. How would the world be if you did not exist? It is amazing how much you really can influence the lives of those around you. Thank you George Bailey and Frank Capra.
