The Great Sea World Adventure

We took our very first family getaway last weekend.  Sean found an amazing deal for Sea World in San Antonio and away we went.  Sea World opened up a Sesame Street park this summer and since Elizabeth is so into Abby and Elmo and Burt and Ernie and Cookie Monster and Grover, and well, you get the gist, we had to take her.

Along the way, Sean stumbled across the opportunity to have breakfast with your Sesame Street friends.  Of course, we had to partake in the greatness of seeing Elizabeth's face light up with joy.  Well, it lit up with joy when they first walked into the room and she started running towards them...and then realized what she was doing, got scared and clung to mommy like a life raft!  It took her exactly 53 minutes of a 60 minute breakfast for Elizabeth to warm up to her big Sesame Street friends.  But when she did warm up to them, she was all smiles, flirts, and dancing with her friends.  It was about the cutest thing you have ever seen.  And it was worth every shiny penny to see it too.

Check out the seals and sea lions.

The joy of watching the Sesame Street show...again.

Pretend this is upright...Abby and Elizabeth hug.

All tuckered out....

Look what Abby brought me while I took a bath...an Abby Caddaby wand.  What a great souvenir!

If you have little ones that are into Sesame Street, we highly recommend checking out Sea World.  We had a blast with Elizabeth there...and she had a fantastic time too!
